Writing MFA, Hopes and Hopefuls

I'm a recent undergrad interested in applying to an MFA program next fall. Does anyone know of any good literary journals or magazines and other publications that would accept submissions from people who don't have an MFA? And what are the odds of a recent undergrad being published in these types of journals? Would I just be wasting my time?
Thanks!

No literary magazine actually takes submissions exclusively from MFAs. If you have an MFA, sometimes it makes them look more closely at you, but there's no editor alive who truly believes you need an MFA to be a writer.

The odds aren't particularly good, but the odds are never good, to be honest, even for MFAs. Don't sweat that. Just start sending your things out. The worst they can say is "no" and all you've wasted is postage. And on the other hand, you might luck out and find the editor who will fall in love with your work.
